Welcome to the Gen 2 Vegan Suede Sneaker.

The suede sneaker has been in our collection since 2015. We have kept the shape you know, but rebuilt everything underneath it as we keep learning how to make the perfect vegan sneaker.

The sole runs unbroken from the stitched sidewall through to the ground. The cupsole is built as a single cup (100% rubber) that the upper sits down inside, then stitched through the wall rather than glued to it, which holds the shape of the shoe over years of wear. Grippy underfoot and lightweight at 870g a pair.

That lightness comes from how the upper is built. Gen 2 is Strobel construction — the upper is stitched to a soft fabric base that runs the full length of the foot, then set into the cupsole. It's how proper sneakers and trainers are made, and it does two things: there's no rigid board underfoot, so the shoe flexes with your foot from the first wear rather than needing breaking in, and there's less weight in the middle of the shoe where you feel it most.

Inside you will find deep removable EVA contoured sports insoles that really cushion your feet, and a light grey breathable sports mesh lining (100% recycled polyester) that helps move air through the shoe and keeps your feet cool. Wide woven laces (100% recycled polyester) with metal tips sit flat across the facing. A discreet WVS emboss is pressed into the tongue.

The uppers are our navy vegan suede (100% PU), soft to the touch with a fine, low nap. Everything on the outside is the same deep navy: suede, sole, laces. One colour from top to ground, so the shoe reads as a single clean shape, and the navy is deep enough to work almost like a neutral.

The stitching is where the making shows. The sidewall stitch running visibly right round the join, the seams through the upper, the topline turned and stitched flat so nothing rubs. Nothing decorative, and nothing left on it that doesn't earn its place.

Wear them with jeans and a white t-shirt, with chinos and a knit, or with tailored trousers when you want something softer than a vegan leather shoe. Navy goes with nearly everything you already own. They're the sneaker for the days white feels too sharp and black feels too serious, and the pair you'll reach for without thinking.

Resistenza all'acqua
Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion.
This product is ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging. We measure the emissions from making and delivering it, and work to a plan to reduce them.

Pulizia: pulisci tomaie e suole con acqua calda e sapone e un panno o una spazzola morbida, poi asciugale accuratamente con un asciugamano.

Lucidatura: puoi usare un lucido sintetico per ravvivare la brillantezza e rinfrescare il colore: qualsiasi prodotto sintetico dovrebbe andare bene, applicato secondo le istruzioni. Se le tue calzature hanno un effetto brunito su punta e lati (su alcune delle nostre tomaie in pelle vegana marrone applichiamo un lucido più scuro per questo effetto), è meglio farlo riapplicare da un calzolaio, oppure farlo a casa lavorando un lucido di tonalità più scura intorno alla punta e ai lati.

Asciugatura: puoi asciugare le calzature sopra o vicino a un termosifone o a un'altra fonte di calore. A seconda del calore, possono servire alcuni giorni perché l'interno si asciughi completamente. Non mettere mai le calzature in lavatrice.

Deodorazione: non lasciare le calzature umide tra un utilizzo e l'altro, soprattutto all'interno degli stivali, perché può compromettere la resistenza all'acqua e favorire lo sviluppo di microbi, causando cattivi odori. Se succede, asciuga accuratamente le calzature e usa un deodorante per calzature finché l'odore non scompare. Nei casi estremi, lava l'interno con acqua calda e sapone, poi asciugalo completamente e riapplica il deodorante.

Impermeabilizzazione (facoltativa): puoi trattare le tomaie con uno spray impermeabilizzante per migliorarne durata, resistenza alle macchie e resistenza all'acqua. Ti consigliamo di farlo ogni 2-3 mesi a seconda dell'uso: la maggior parte degli spray impermeabilizzanti standard funziona bene sulla nostra pelle vegana.

  • La calzata perfetta: la scarpa non deve stringere. Le dita devono avere spazio e non ci devono essere punti di sfregamento.
  • Sensazione: nella maggior parte dei casi le nostre calzature sono comode da subito. A seconda del modello o della forma del piede, la tomaia può richiedere qualche giorno per ammorbidirsi.

  • Mettiti in piedi su una superficie dura con il tallone contro il muro.
  • Misura dal tallone (il muro) alla punta del dito più lungo.
  • Usa questa misura per trovare la tua taglia nella tabella sopra.
